Verify TT™ A new world leading technology developed specifically to provide traceability for the international textile industry.
The Verify TT™ proprietary system is the result of a collaborative science project that involved Australia’s leading science research organisation CSIRO and the textile science group within AgResearch, a New Zealand government owned research institution focused on primary industry. Verifi TT is protected by international patents together with closely held proprietary systems that underpin high level protection of the system.
Verify TT™ provides the most advanced system available to protect against fraud, pirating of branded products, false claims and validation of key component supply throughout the value chain providing consumers absolute assurance as to the authenticity of leading designer brands names.
The Verify TT™ system provides its customers with unique tracer codes embodied within synthetic fibre (usually 2 denier). This is supplied in staple or filament form to be blended with any other staple spun yarn, non woven textile material or sewing yarn. The Verifi TT tracer fiber is blended at a ratio of 1:3000 so is invisible to the eye and has no discernable influence on fabric or sewing yarn properties.
Verify TT detection. Detection of each unique code is only possible using a proprietary electronic hand held Reader. This enables instant detection by passing the Reader over the finished fabric or yarn or over the finished garment. Such tests can be applied at any point in the value chain providing immediate validation of each unique code without the need for time consuming laboratory testing.
Labels and sewing yarns. Verifi TT™ can be incorporated within woven textile labels and used within sewing yarns for use within garments, bags or shoes and floor coverings.
Successful trials for commercial applications. Verifi TT™ has been successfully incorporated within high quality merino wool textiles and synthetic sewing yarns by leading global manufacturers. It has also been successfully used to authenticate high quality wool carpets.
